I have followed Somers’ “Eat Great, Lose Weight” and her “Get Skinny” books since mid-Oct 1999 and I’m down 18 lbs and feel great. Her guidelines are easy to follow. My husband and I have just finished a wonderful meal of Morrocan chicken, baked spagetti squash and crisp stir fried zuccini squash. It was such a tasty,filling and gourmet type meal that he suggested I share our excitement with all the Somersizing fans! The chicken recipe is one of our favorites and we enjoy using the left over preserved lemon in other dishes. We started on this diet in Sept. and have both lost 20 pounds. After a couple of months we did start to cheat a bit and found that as long as we return right back to the plan we maintain our weight. We are off on a two week holiday soon and will try to keep to the diet as much as possible but know that if we return a few pounds up that it is very easy to loose them quickly by going right back to level one again.
